Carrying forward the legacy of Sri NRKR—a celebrated cotton ginner known for his ethical procurement and deep respect for farmers—the company continues to lead not only in quality textile production but also in environmental responsibility.
Faced with high energy demands from continuous processing operations, NRKR aimed to drastically cut power expenses and reduce its carbon footprint. A shift to solar under the OPEX model allowed them to pursue sustainability without upfront capital expenditure.

Our Solution:
SunWorks Energy executed a full-scope EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) solar project using ground-mounted structures. Designed for uninterrupted industrial integration, the system spans NRKR’s extensive textile facility, delivering consistent and reliable power generation. Real-time monitoring and smart grid interfacing help NRKR meet operational and sustainability goals simultaneously.

- Cost Reduction: ₹9,95,20,000 in electricity savings over 2.5 years.
- Energy Security: Estimated annual yield of 14,364,000 kWh, with 12,440,000 kWh already generated.
- No Upfront Investment: Delivered under OPEX model, ensuring immediate savings.

- CO₂ Offset: Approx. 8,708 tones/year of emissions reduced.
- Trees Saved Equivalent: Equal to planting 223,273 trees annually.
